Devens work deals with the everyday mythology of stereotyped ideals of industrialized society. Moped 2 is a seemingly authentic moped but is made entirely from scratch. Powered by an electrical motor, it is stripped of romantic connotations of freedom and independence, tethered by the cable leading to the wall socket.
