Jun Kaneko combines distinctive colors and patterns into simple yet compelling ceramic forms. His charactaristic dangos (Japanese for dumpling) are free-standing sculptures in which he explores the relationships between size, scale and surface. Ranging in size from modest to massive, each piece harmoniously combines these formal concerns into powerful objects.
